Felix and Lane are now an established couple trying to figure out life. However, that’s more difficult than they ever could have anticipated when Felix’s family gets involved in his life, and a dangerous stalker starts playing a game of life or death with them. Like the first book, there is a ton of humor, snark, and sarcasm in every line. I found myself laughing out loud and enjoying myself immensely as I listened to the book. This humor may not be for everyone, but if you do enjoy this type of witty and dry sarcasm and snark, then you won’t be disappointed – I wasn’t.

The plot was full of danger and suspense. Don’t think too much on whether it’s realistic or not – this is a book that’s made for entertainment the same way action movies are meant to entertain. Felix and Lane are well developed characters, and their relationship is so strong and beautiful. I loved their banter and how they showed each other their love through actions both little and heroic.

Narration: Joel Leslie once again knocks it out of the park. His performance is perfect and really emphasized the suspense and tension that the plot demands. I loved it.

Overall Rating: 5 Stars. The writing was wonderful, the plot was interesting, and the characters are so engaging that I fell in love with them. There’s not a single thing I did not like about this book. I highly recommend it.
