Yeah first two books are like M rated games, the story is really compelling with the world and the way they have the Mimic work, the main character went in One dungeon after struggling with a quest and in this book he confidently feels he can solo any dungeon, maybe the boss monster of the first book was a confidence builder except he doesn’t have his full set of party members, just one example of several holes or sudden changes in the characters. Overall it’s a decent read, I wish they wouldn’t drop the f-bomb as much takes me out of the fantasy world the author created.
