Sheri Cobb South has written 2 great stories in this book. I love the characters of John Pickett and Lady Fieldhurst (aka Julia Fieldhurst-Pickett) and Mr. Colquhoun. This book deals with marriage and murder. I loved how the killer was revealed and it was a surprise to me. The twists the author writes are so well done. The imagery in the story is so vivid, and the details are perfect. The humor is an added plus. Joel Froomkin performs this book (and series) perfectly. He gives distinguishable voices to the various characters. One can hear who is speaking by just listening to his smooth sigh voice. I requested this review copy audiobook and have voluntarly written this review. I cannot recommend this book and series enough. This is a delightful listen and continuation to the series. I am looking forward to listening to more books by this author and narrator.
