A lot of litrpg is based around moments of plot with some loose story and mechanics tying them together. The best make the rpg elements just be part of one coherent flow. This series is the best, it’s fast paced, well plotted, full of interesting characters and clever too. Throw in a few real laughs, some genuinely moving moments and you have a great book. The narration and production is superb.
I like that Carl and his cohort aren’t perfect, they make mistakes and they are not the most powerful beings that use sheer power to solve the issues that confound them.
Based on some of those solutions the author clearly needs counseling.
I highly recommend this series.
