I don’t see where this falls into the LitRPG category, but it is a good “swords and sorcery” fantasy story. The primary narrator for Nemon was a bit stiff for me, but it may be an attempt to play a “stiff” character. The story was pretty good, starting from a well established wizard instead of a newb like most LitRPG stories, but that isn’t why I question it’s place in the LitRPG category. There is no game mechanics, no “outside world”, and other than the occassional mention of users as adventurers, there is no indication this is a story about “role playing game.” That said, the story was interesting, the narration was pretty good, the story flowed well, and was interesting. I’ll likely look for book 2 on sale.
