This was a fantastic series. It was a very intriguing concept done by an author who has truly considered the craft. I have more than 200 titles, around 50 of which are litrpg titles. I also follow around ten current royalroad offerings. The failure of litrpg, in general, is that most don’t have good or accomplished authors. Concepts and Magic systems are generally the things that keep me entranced and allow me to suspend disbelief. I, personally, am willing to listen to trash as long as the concepts and systems are interesting enough. This series exceeded all expectations. The magical concepts and their development were well explored. Characters developed in ways that were both interesting and logical. The writing itself was immensely pleasurable after reading so many amateurish attempts at prose. If fantasy, litrpg or any of their subsidiaries intrigue you, this is a series worth your time. Put off reading a book that is mostly instant gratification for something of substance and give World Tree Online a listen. The author, if I may be so bold, is not yet at the peak of their craft. This alone makes me excited and eager for the next work they release-they are already gifted, what grand work must be in the works? If you have made it so far, thank you for reading and continue on to this fantastic trilogy. If the author happens to notice, thank you for a fantastic listen. I cannot wait for more.
