Cara Malone is one of those authors where I can pick anything from her library of titles and always get a good one. Awakened is a story of love at first sight. The sparks exist at all times between Morgan and Leah. From the first interview where the two kiss in a bathroom to when they are put together in the workplace and Morgan has to train Leah. The sexual tension is amazing and Cara does an excellent job of giving you little bits of heat here and there until she is ready to open the gates and let you feel the full fire. Charlie L. Wood does a great job of narration, giving each of the characters unique voices and providing just the right amount of acting to add to the story without overdoing it.
This was a quick listen for me and one that I have enjoyed twice now. It is one that I would pick up again when I need to hear a spicy, building romance. It is highly recommended.
