An awesome book in the gamelit genre and one that handles things a bit better than most other books you’ll find. While still traditional and following common story tropes it still makes for a great story and the audio version is an amazing rendition with multiple voice actors, music, and ambient sounds that add to the experience.
Only at one or two points, when characters are speaking through doors, does it become a bit hard to understand things properly. But it only happens twice and in such a short amount that context alone let’s you know what’s happening. Other than that it was an awesome story to listen to while I was busy working or relaxing and I’ll be looking into other books by the author and other audio books by this narrator.
