Decent novel, but not a ton of depth. The plot is pretty simple, with a kind of repeating cycle that brings new random violence and action each time. The protagonist was okay, but kind of flat and predictable. More action than sci fi, expect weapons to be talked about with a great degree of detail and precision, but expect much more cursory descriptions of the science which feels more closer to magic than science.
