I know this style of “prepper SHTF” book is very popular, I have read & listened to more than a few. I had hoped for a fast paced, well developed storyline but it slogged along with line after line of government conspiracy propaganda which clouds what could have been a really compelling story. Not witty, reads a bit like a first draft. Most of it is just “fact” spewing nonsense that added little to further the story. Remove even 50% of the eye rolling, relentless “government conspiracy facts” and develop the characters & story more. Maybe save the rest for a podcast or a manifesto.
It was recommended by a friend who loved it so to each their own I guess.
