I couldn’t get enough of Troy and Dahlia and probably could have had more of their story. This is a very easy and enjoyable listen. It was also a quick listen for me because I didn’t want to walk away from it. This is the first time I have read romantic suspense by Adriana Locke and for a security company series it is a good start. I found the chemistry between Troy and Dahlia fun, friendly, and plenty spicy. I love a protective grumpy MMC and their sunshine FMC counterparts.
I thought both narrators did a great job with their performances. Connor Brown came across as grumpy, protective, and caring in such an authentic way. CJ Bloom nailed the bubbly sunshine personality of Dahlia. She seemed to be in her element with this character.
