I picked this one up randomly when looking for longer lit RPG options and it is hard not to pass up 3 books for one credit. It is more of a young adult style, but don’t let that turn you away! Instead of getting caught up in overly descriptive adult themes, the author spends time on character, world, and game ideas. It is young adult, so does get a little neatly packaged, but I really enjoyed reading the 3 independent story arcs. The narration was fantastic. I wish there were more books in the setting, but for people who will only read complete series this has it all. Great underdog story! Highly recommend for fun reading, will now be looking into author’s other books.
