i was fairly disappointed in this book, as the first three were fairly good. there was always the generous and occasionally questionable use of time jumps, but this one… its like the author didnt have the interest or patience to invest in the events described or to connect the readers to the characters experiences. add some serious hand waving (Artorian can reconstruct bodies!) and any feeling of investment, emotional or otherise, has been stripped. no time is spent on exploring the relationships and observations which are, supposedly, Artoriand “thing.”

i find myself worried about the next book, I dearly hope that with the world ended and beginning we get more time and interest in the story from the author.
