Ok, so this another great production. A few things you might wanna know…
Pros- amazing narration, followed story line perfectly, characters are just as well defined and unique as the first book, lots of great hints about how the story is going to take a huge and crazy turn, nicely placed surprises, and everything flows really nicely.
Cons-only one major one though-this book went into a TON of detail during the fights and how they move through the level, telling every step and outlining almost every battle again, just like the last book. It got a little redundant, but only a little. It’s a good way to keep producing sequels but it lost me a little in the middle. You can definitely tell something is building though and that’s really what kept my interest. I noticed myself watching how much time the book had left and thinking to myself, ‘ok, what is it? Where are we going with all this? When are we gonna dig a little deeper into the next plot?’ because when you get towards the end, there’s still so much left undone. That’s really the only con I think is worth mentioning.
Even though I’m still not a gamer and the whole rpg thing is still not my thing, I’m heading for the next book because I just gotta know what happens to them!! I just really hope the whole next book isn’t them going through another level just fighting mobs and monsters and doing quests and leveling up and saving mpc’s etc. I’m afraid if it is, I might have to step away from the series for a while and I don’t wanna do that. Fingers crossed for the thickened plot to finally reveal itself!!
