The Sound of Silence (Leave Me Breathless World) is a fiery rivetng, dark romantic suspense that kept my ears tuned and on edge till the very end. Told in first person multi pov bringing together characters thinking with fully developed characters. The writing style is captivating and the plot twists unfold in multi-layers. Author Dakota Willink wrote a unalloyed story that dealt a difficult subject matter with clarity and depth. I highly recommend listening to this audio as well as all the other books written by talented author Dakota Willink. I absolutely loved the characters and the storyline. The ending of this dark romantic suspense was perfect.
Narators Sean Crisden, Sarah Puckett, Connor Crais brought a multicast naration with a flawless performance. Perfectly casted narators who voiced the roles of the characters perfectly. I loved Sarah’s listening to Sarah’s tone, Connor Crais impression of insane Ethan was fun to listen to, and I love his inflection, Sean Crisden’s inflection is effortless and perfect choice to play the role of Derek.
