Yes, this definitely brought out the waterworks. And I was already stuffed from allergies so I was a mess coming back in to work from my lunch hour. Everything was believable EXCEPT Sarah’s reaction that started the long 6 year separation. If she was Chord’s BFF since kindergarten and knew the love was mutual, then why?????
But nonetheless, she did, and their rollercoaster lives took that first plunge. Six years later their lives were back on top looking at a new world together. Of course, then it fell to the bottom of that deep dark hill no one ever wants to live through. Many people don’t, and even more relationships fail. It’s a believable grief and loss and a struggle to resume life again. This book has it’s HEA, thank the good Lord. I don’t think I could have taken a sad ending.
