Straight, gay, or bi, I think anyone will love this book (listen). Absolutely charming, if far-fetched, tale of how two best friends (one gay, one “straight”) realize they’re soulmates. There are so many laugh out loud moments in this book I was practically bent over with stomach cramps. Hi-la-ri-ous! I’ve got to give tons of credit to Joel Leslie, the narrator, on this one. It’s one thing to read a well-written story (with great, distinct, voices), but quite another to pull off such comedic timing. The “what’s app” conversation among the Kelly clan is almost as good as a “Who’s on First” performance by Abbott and Costello (you young’uns can look that one up!). Truly noteworthy performance.
I’ll be looking for the next in the series. A definite recommend, and a keeper!
