I loved the five little wishes series so I’m really happy that the fun of Summer Island and the wishing well hasn’t ended and there’s another series to come (and perhaps if I keep my fingers crossed another series after that).
Meet Beryl, just released from prison and Thor a retired Navy Seal, sparks fly from their first meeting and Beryl wants none of it. What follows is a story that made me laugh out loud several time, a story I will definitely be listening to again, it too goo not to.
The narration is excellent, great character voices, and somehow, Angie manages to make the quirky parts quirkier and the funny parts funnier.
