We didn’t get too far into the book before we realized that the language wasn’t to our taste. Mr. Pierce once again gave a masterful performance for what we heard. The story and subject matter could have been told and been just as compelling and riveting without the gratuitous f-bombs and other unnecessary foul language. We have listened to numerous similar books by other authors who were able to adequately convey the vulgarity that some may not find offensive without actually using it. It is simply a choice we have made.
