Lacks depth, but a fun listen nonetheless.

Don’t get me wrong, there’s plenty of action going on in The Chase Baker Trilogy. What I really wish there had been more of is depth; in the story and the characters. There’s an overarching superficiality that permeates throughout. All that being said, I didn’t dislike this story. It’s a fun read/listen, and I was satisfied with the conclusion, but with a just a bit more development all around it could be much improved. A solid start from a promising writer.

Andrew Wehrlen does a good job narrating and I look forward to hearing more from him.
