While a great concept, it severely lacks execution. Nothing is explained. There is no description about anything: surroundings, characters. An alien universe that has no description might be anywhere. Characters seem to contradict their own described traits. The chapters/plot seem very choppy. The reader is all psyched up for an intense scene only to have it cut short and change to a different setting with NO summary what had happened. Very hard to read!
