The MC goes from an apocalyptic California to and apocalyptic VR.
The leveling and stats seem insignificant.
The story is good enough to keep you interested but doesn’t really have much emotional impact. The performance by Soundbooth is somewhat disappointing as the five or so female characters are the exact same voice.
Overall disappointment, however there is potential enough to maybe continue reading the series depending on what else is available.
