I know this will sound crazy considering the genre of fiction this book falls into—one that I have voraciously consumed for the past 3 years— but I just can’t enjoy the views that are in this book. Not after what “patriots” like the main protagonists put our country through this year.
I’ve listened to every available audiobook from Ryan Schow. I’m truly sad that this might be my last. I might have enjoyed it prior to the January 6, 2021 insurrection. But our country has changed since then, and so have I. 2016 might go down as the last time I voted in the R column.
