Basic get home/hungry neighbors survival story. Moves along at a good pace with plenty of action. Has decent insight into the causes of this bad situation. The book does go into some details of the kinds of situations that go on in certain systems, which in the case of a grid down collapse scenario release criminally insane and other felons onto an already stressed out public. But it’s not overkill, just as you are about to be bored it’s right back to the action. Does a decent job of making the reader “feel” the obviously intense situations that arise.
