I started this book a year ago and did not like Ned, I thought he was a loser just like the ax. But after it was recommended again I pushed though the intro. I’m so glad I did, this book was so good! You eventually get more of his story and he’s a great character. Also, once the story starts you realize he isn’t lame. He makes choices you agree with and that’s all back story.
The world is great, the themes and combat is fun, and the items are super cool. Loved this book; excited to start the next!
