The core of the story is glorified and justified pedophilia. Yes, the author weaves an intricate story. However, sexual encounters with a 12-year-old is NEVER okay. There is no exception. I am sure the controversy will bring in more readers as intented. But, in a world where pedophilia is used to stigmatize wrongfully the transgender community, how is the real thing ever justifiable? There are cringeworthy encounters in this book. Be warned – especially if you’re an abuse survivor.
