Read many books of this genre. This one has some moments you ask Really?? Two examples…college dorm kid finds a dead kid in the bathroom who obviously died from the flu (this after its been out awhile), he grabs his girlfriend and her friend and rush to leave and drive home. He gets killed in a carjacking, girls saved by Dad and they go home. (No police involved) Two days later the girls back in college with her friend. Like nothing happen and there’s no flu cooties at school. Really?
Second example, police are notify neighborhood that they have to evacuate cause a damn is gonna break. (How this suddenly comes up in the store seems odd, but I think to get the group to leave). So while they’re packing to make a run for it the siren goes off, and they ignore it cause they didn’t think it a big deal. Really?
