This is not my first Black Ocean story. I enjoyed the first book that was 85 hours and Mercy for 92 hours but, this one at “only” 62 hours just dragged on.
Maybe it had too many main characters but, it would branch off to side stories that really didn’t matter to the core story. yes, what was happening was bad but, wasting time explaining how people felt about just slowed down the story.
8m on the fence if I will continue with this series. But, finding out “Mercy for hire ” came out after this gives me some hope.
