This book was easy to listen to, as most LitRPGs are. It overall made the commute back and forth to work a little easier. What I struggled with was the lack of originality. The story, setting, characters, and LitRPG elements felt like a re-creation of other popular LitRPGs without a unique or creative touch and I found it predictable and dull.

Justin Thomas James did a decent job with the narration. I did not care for Laurie Winkel’s narration; it sounded kind of robotic.

I was given this free review copy audiobook at my request and have voluntarily left this review.
