The premise of the story was somewhat puerile but I expected it. Not a lot of depth to the characters which needed to be fleshed out more. The narrator has great range for voices, amazing even, and that would get 5 stars, but his standard narrative tone is a big turn off and I’d give that 2 stars. That said, I’ll probably get the next book. Not the best example of the genre but not the worst. 3 stars.
