Firefly type space sci-fi, but the characters just aren’t that captivating, nor is the story very exciting. I really wanted to love it, because I loved Firefly, and I love this genre, and there are lots of books in the series . . . but this fell flat. Good narration, though.
I’ll give book 2 a shot, because I got it on sale.
