3 1/2

This is the 8th Jon Reznick book I’ve read and they seem to get worse and worse. I mean, Trevelle must have said he was scared half-dozen times in the first chapter. I started rolling my eyes again and again, while wishing the kid would shut-the-heck-up. It was becoming very boring.

I think I’m finally done with Reznick.

This was all about the murder of two young hackers and the constant attempts to kill Rosalind Dyer, of the Defense Criminal Investigative Service, and Jon taking good care of the bad guys in the end.

No sex and the F-bomb was used 74 times.

As to the narration: I think Jeffrey Kafer was a little over dramatic this time, especially when it came to Trevelle’s fear and constant whining.
