Just finished and Wow!

Okay, so I just finished. Wow. It was fun. The author’s note at the end confirmed a few things for me. This was an amazing story! It was fun (Carl), it was cute (Kubu), it was a buddy story (Carl and Roddy), it hit in the feels (Mort). And heck, it’s a great value. I was hesitant initially despite the great reviews. Wizards in space? Eh yeah. I had this as one of the first books in my wishlist that I never ended up getting around to. I’m kicking myself in the pants. Totally awesome wizards in space and not corny like it sounded to me initially. This was amazing.
