I bought this without reading reviews or listening to sample because I love Annie and Jeff, both do a wonderful job as always. The story, however, does not hold my attention well. It started off okay, but by halfway through the book I find my thoughts wandering and I have to backtrack a few minutes just to remember what was going on. I liked the idea behind the world but I just don’t care for what the main character (Tierra?) and supporting guide (Pierre?) they are doing. I was hoping g for dinosaurs killing everything in the dungeon, maybe breaking out into the world, not a main character who starts to feel sorry for half the people that enter the dungeon and manipulate it to not kill them. I’m not going to return it because I did somewhat enjoy the first half, unfortunately I will have to mark it as read and let it sit because it just can’t hold my attention around the 10 hours left mark.
