Just couldn’t get into it.

This certainly isn’t the worst book I’ve listened to, but not much happens. I keep thinking the groundwork is laid and now something interesting will happen. okay *now* something interesting will happen. Okay maybe now? nope. Just boring characters going about their lives. And a lot of flashbacks. A LOT of flash backs. meet new character flashback! new character touches their ring flashback! It’s almost as if the author is trying to imitate Pulp Fiction.
