More adventurous then the first book but just as good. Some of my most favorite parts were the IRL moments, Jerry messing with people, the MC coming up with witty tactics for fights, and watching Reilly and Frank grow in power and as people.
However, this amazing story still suffers from a narrator that doesn’t quite fit. Mr. Stifel does well performing almost any character except Reilly, Frank, and the MC. Specifically, MC sounds like he is in his mid 20s and Frank sounds older; they are supposed to be high schoolers. Not to mention that sometimes the narrator does not make any distinction between Jason’s internal monologue and what he is actually saying to others.
