Just as good as the first book. I am honestly shocked at the lack of reviews.
Sarah Puckett does a wonderful job narrating. She uses different voices to differentiate between characters which always helps make a good audiobook.
There’s a lot of action happening in this book and we get to explore Jan’s relationship with her vampire more than in the first book. We learn a lot more about him and see as his personality comes out. It’s really enjoyable to listen to. And the Beast Lord, Good Gravy!!! ??? Need I say more! I loved both books and I’ll say it again….

The cat ? and I recommend this series. And, you know she is picky and always right. 😉
*I would recommend listening to the books in series order to understand the full impact of all relationships.
