I have listened to several of Jeremy’s books and every time I’m surprised at how emotional I get! This one was no less a rollercoaster!! Written about the Appalachian mountains, makes it more endearing to me as I myself call those very mountains my home.
Starts off with a bang and kept rolling! My heart was pounding through the whole book!! There was no guessing what was next! Oh the things Owen goes through makes your heartbleed for him!! How can you be so excited one minute and totally heart broken the next?! I just cannot explain how much this book toys with your emotions!! Truly felt for out main character, who is such a strong character as well! I loved the appearance of a couple of characters from another story that I loved as well! Was like seeing old friends!
So beautifully wrote with such wonderful, new ideas I’ve never came across before. I’m continually impressed with the creativity of writing. Another five stars from me!
Narration was wonderful. Great flow and emotion. I reccomend this to any sci-fi or really any fiction lover! It’s different and refreshing.
