Although Eve, bride to the dragon shifter Prince Kyran, has filled the dragon and cat shifters in on modern Earth customs, they still don’t quite understand that you can’t just grab a woman, talk to her a few minutes and steal her away to Qurilixen. Catshifter Prince Rafe has come through the portal to get some Earth food for Princess Eve. He is not in a hurry to find his mate. Then he saw Jenna Kearney, and his plans change. She is injured, and Rafe scoops her up and goes through the portal. Jenna is trying to come to grips with being on an alien planet, and having one of the princes on that planet claim she is his mate. Rafe just wants to make her his wife and make her happy. There is a bit of sibling squabble, a language barrier that causes some misunderstandings, and a dangerous plot by a radical group of catshifters. This is another fun adventure with the shifters of Qurilixen as they try to find their mates. Connor Brown’s narration was enjoyable.
