This series has been going for a while and I’m glad I was there at the beginning. The gotcha planning and plotting of this series always makes me want more. Jason is always a badass with conviction.
With the recent storylines, where the avatars are basically gods now… there aren’t very many in game stakes despite how many times the book tells you they are. My point is that in game everyone has acquired more power than they could ever need, and will probably continue to get more.
The real interesting story is in real life now. The trial, CAPC, George lane, Alex, Eliza’s parents, Finn. All those things are starting to come together and happen outside the game. I’m honestly ready for a focus on that because it’s getting really interesting with the recent twists in this book.
