The story is intriguing. I am a sucker for strong intelligent main characters. However, while the plot kept me listening, the characters themselves were very… disappointing. The dialog is painful, their forced banter and “jokes” even more-so. The personalities of most of the characters were extremely stereotypical and dull. If you read books to become connected to the characters this is not for you.
