Good love story, interesting characters with unique background. Chaz and Dr. Dimples’ HEA was well deserved. It just didn’t grip me like ANW’s Zero Hour series. Maybe it’s the whole hiding a secret thing, it gives me anxiety. But it’s a great book to listen to.
Joel is a great narrator, I love his accents and his performance but I feel like he’s not the narrator for this series. Maybe because I’m associating him with Josh and Gabe in Curl Up and Dye series so it feels off for me and the characters tend to blend in?
Still, great story, well-loved narrator, it’s just not a 5 star for me.
