This was an average mystery/thriller novel. Not horrible, but not earth-shattering either. The characters felt rather blah, and the mystery itself wasn’t hard to figure out. I’d deduced who the baddie was early on, so it was rather disappointing to find out I was right. I like to be surprised by twists/turns in a novel – especially if they make sense. But this one was so predictable it kinda took the fun out of the whole thing. Oh well. :/ The narrator did an OK job.
