it would be more believable is she were a valley girl and just deliberately “ditzifying” herself. I have to decide whether it’s even with it to finish the last hour and a half of this book. The mc has no redeeming quantities other than she’s “nice”. That might not be so bad in an actual person, but it’s not something I want to read about.
