One aspect ruined the book for me
So one thing that always annoys me is when they make a female competent then she gets captured she says she can handle herself then the story proves otherwise but she will disregard the mc and continue to put herself in those situations like keep her away from the conflict so if she gets captured it will be less predictable i knew she was going to be captured at some point because she’s strong but not strong enough to resist being caught in just repeating myself at this point but this has stopped me from continuing this series because I feel like it will keep happening If you don’t mind that give the rest of the series a shot
