It’s nice to see women as authors and protagonists in fantasy novels, especially LitRPG.
The voice acting work is excellent.
There are some hints of a deeper plot of sorts – one “good” AI generating the world and an antagonist AI that could cause trouble in the future, and mysterious pains playing the game – but in general, the plot is pretty basic. The player is offered a job with pretty flimsy justification, and then the character settles down to the first batch of NPCs she encounters, trying to improve their settlement.
It’s not bad – just not interesting enough to make me eager to continue listening to the series.
