As someone who loves world building, it’s really refreshing to see a story where the MC has vested interest in exploring the “new” world they’ve woken up to. There’s no deeper plots that get resolved nor explored. It’s just an adventure for the sake of exploration and curiosity. No real big bads. No complicated plots. Just some fun world building and a little progression with one of the side MCs.
If you need tension in your story on the MC’s side, this ain’t your book. The MC is literally unrivalled.
