It’s good. You’ll probably enjoy it, regardless of who you are or what you’re looking for.
I enjoyed this series, but I felt like it lacked a level of complexity I was hoping for. It’s probably fine for younger audiences or anyone looking for a light and uncomplicated story. I guess this is sort of like the “Disney” approach to fantasy, it has a lot of mass appeal but also fails to get too deep or dark or interesting as a byproduct of that.
And, if nothing else, it is narrated by the talented Travis Baldree. I could listen to him read a phone book and still be reasonably entertained.
