if you watch anime then you can tell the author straight up takes things from popular anime and just throws them all together. towards the end I was just picturing the anime in my head whenever I recognized a part or thing within the book.
Who just let’s their 9 year old go run off to become an adventurer after just coming home from being gone after 4 years. This book heavily takes inspiration from “jobless reincarnation”, but no one just let’s a 9 year old run off.
The fact that almost everyone he meets is just so nice and giving. It really just takes away from the fact people are assholes generally. Book reads like it was written for kids, but at the same time trying to be geared towards teens. Everything is just go, go, go. So many time skips in the beginning is fine, but there sure is a lot of things that could of been written about.
