this is an excellent book. the author continues to refine and improve his craft. if you like the previous books in the series, you’re going to love this. if you didn’t like the books previous books in the series, you’re not going to like this at all. and if you haven’t read the previous books and you’re just trying to start here, you’re doing yourself a disservice because your other books add so much more to this adventure. you can read this one as a standalone and still enjoy it and it will be great. but you’re going to miss a lot of context and you will be a lot of little stuff that you’ll miss that would have made you smile and laugh that y’all’ll just go right over your head.
